The distributions below depict the global liftboat (i.e. self-propelled Jack-Up) supply segmented by region, owner, and class. The regions are as follows: West Africa, Asia, Middle East & North Africa (MENA), North America, Europe, and Newbuilds.  A liftboat's class is synonymous with leg length measured in feet. Wherein, a class 320 liftboat would have 320-foot legs and be accounted for in the 280 - 400 category.

The New Build Class Distribution reflects the number of liftboats under construction. For a liftboat to be classified as under construction, TWS must first observe evidence of material capital outlay (e.g. keel lay, deposit on critical machinery, etc.). Thereafter, the liftboat will remain part of the new build order book until it physically departs the shipyard at which it was built. The New Build Class Distribution is independent of the other regional class distribution. For example, a liftboat under construction in Asia is captured in the New Build Class Distribution but not the Asia Class Distribution.
